Impact

KICK…

Every number represents a young person. Every story represents a journey. Every life has the potential to be transformed.

Across schools, communities and churches, KICK is reaching young people through sport and support – enabling them to personally develop, socially connect and spiritual change – and bringing hope for the future and joy in the present.

Our impact is measured in more than numbers. It’s seen in increased confidence and happier, healthier lives, that have more meaning and purpose.

Here’s what our impact looks like.

What Young People told us

We surveyed 500 young people and on average nearly four out of five of them said that they felt more happy, less anxious, were more satisfied with their lives, as well as having more meaning and purpose in their lives, as a result of working with KICK.

Case Study

A young person’s story

From Exam Anxiety to Renewed Confidence

At just 16, J was facing overwhelming anxiety as the pressure of upcoming exams took its toll. Worry and uncertainty were affecting his confidence and outlook on the future.

Through weekly sessions with a KICK mentor, J found a safe space to share his fears, understand his anxiety and develop practical ways to manage the challenges he faced. With encouragement and consistent support, his confidence began to grow.

The transformation was significant. J approached his exams with renewed confidence and a more positive mindset. Now, rather than fearing what lies ahead, he is looking forward to sixth form with excitement, optimism and a fresh sense of possibility.

From anxiety about the future to hope for what it holds.
